ABOUT THE ARTWORK

How should we set up our inner state when physical or mental pain occurs? Accept and observe pain. "Pain is like a symphony. The drums, trumpets and strings play on the eyes like different kinds of pain." Total acceptance and quiet observation. In the meantime, there is no fear and anxiety in the heart, but only total acceptance. When total acceptance occurs, the pain will weaken, and there is the possibility of quiet observation of pain. I'm making a useful attempt. I try to accept the time of fragmentation, distress, unpredictable outcome, accept everything. Although it is very hard to me. When I finish this painting like a settler, I found that it showed me a different feeling.

I was born in China in 1982. Currently living in Spain(2021). I studied in the Academy of Art & Design of Tsinghua University. After graduation(2005), I worked as a design assistant in a design group and later taught in a high school. During the teaching period, I was inspired to pick up the brush for the first time. June 14, 2009 Debut was inspired and affirmed by a letter from Charles Saatchi. In 2014, i was discovered by Rebecca Wilson, chief curator and art development director of the American art platform "Saatchiart". More than 100 works have been widely collected by collectors in the United States, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, Greece, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, Portugal, Nigeria, and Brazil. "...Her portraits possess an innate sense of loneliness and anxiety, and are reminiscent of Francis Bacon’s paintings. She deliberately blurs out the faces of her subjects and makes it difficult to discern any identifiable features. Her energetic and highly impastoed brush strokes and rich color palette of vibrant blues, ochres, greens, and pinks illuminate her canvases and beg the viewer to linger. " ——Kat Henning (Curator of Saatchi Art) The main themes I pursue include conflicts in life, confrontations with strange shapes in the social environment, and the contradictions behind reality. I have drawn a series of portrait themes, including my lover, friend, my mother, animal, model, student or myself.
