ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love hiking and exploring. I live in Baltimore and the nearby town of Harpers Ferry, WV has a lot to take in. It is situated at the unofficial half-way point to the Appalachian Trail. It is at the confluence of two rivers so it has a rich history that is intertwined with the American Civil War. There are highways and railroad tracks and bridges all over. It is a hikers heaven and also beautiful and inspiring for an artist like me. I love that it is a little bit dilapidated and has a lot of small town charm but still feels dangerous. Maybe it is the ghosts.
