ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is an interpretation of a photo I snapped whilst I was a passenger on a road trip in California, where I lived and worked a ski season for 5 months. For me it has a brightness, and the freshness of a new experience, as well as some nostalgia. I tried to convey the interior of the car rushing towards the landscape outside the car. The feeling of the passengers feelings, connected to the landscapes they are viewing.

Adrian Bradbury holds a Master of Fine Art (University of Tasmania, 2022), an Honours degree in Painting (University of Tasmania, 2018), a Bachelor of Health Science (Victoria University, 2008), and a Diploma of Visual Arts (RMIT, 2003) Bradbury has twice been a finalist in the Waterhouse Natural Science art prize, 2018 and 2016.
