This goes perfectly with the mid-century modern look.
This looks crisp and adds a pop of color to this room.
Adds a pop of color to this modern, mid-century room.
Just a simple picture of this taken outside after I finished painting! The more pictures the better.
Rex Ray inspired this artwork though he was more of a collage artist and I am a painter. His influence can be seen in the graphic designs and shapes of the plants and vases. I wanted this artwork to be fun, modern and crisp looking. I want the viewer to enjoy the colors and to be pleased with the composition. I was influenced by the mid-century modern look.

I was Born in Roswell, New Mexico and raised in New Orleans and Ft. Worth, Texas. While studying Art History in college, I realized that I was no longer content to merely observe art, I needed to create it. Painting my connection to humanity and nature sparked my curiosity and allowed me to hyperfocus on a level I had never experienced before. Everyday life pulls my brain in a million different directions, but when I’m painting the nature I see in Colorado or Texas, I am completely present in that moment. When I paint, my greatest worries are about color, the process, proportion and the way the light hits a branch or the petal on a flower. I love how it feels to lay a line down a canvas or recreate a certain shade of a color.
