Marina was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Since early childhood she loved painting, she didn’t take it seriously at first. When she was 14 years old she started her education at Art school. There her talent was discovered. In 2 years Marina was admitted to Saint-Petersburg’s Academy of Arts. She achieved great results and graduated Academy as artist, sculptor and a teacher. Soon she joined the Union of Russian artists. After graduation she worked as a sculpture, participated in exhibitions, at the same time she worked on creating monuments for government orders. Later on Marina went for watercolour painting and pastel drawing and till now these are her favourite techniques. "Now I live a quite life outside of the city, I live in the countryside. My house is surrounded by beautiful nature, which inspires me every day. I love animals, especially dogs and horses, this is reflected in my art" - Marina says.
