Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

This work tries to negotiate between human intimacy and abstraction.
Wherever there's emptiness, there is a space for a possible being, which/who doesn't exist, but may even exist. Universally speaking, there is always a possible human being who is still missing and whose "updating" would increase the value of the world if one would realise it.
"The action of the visual art does not consist in expressing space, but determining it completely. " Piet Mondrian, A New realism - Plastic Art and Pure Plastic Art (1947), Other Essays (1942-1943).
Empty space is thus offered to the painter as the absence of a being that he has, so to speak, vocation to produce, in order not to let pass an occasion to increase reality without making it profitable.
