Adriano (167161) Painting

My source of inspiration is the Abstract Expressionism movement created after WWII in the USA. Artists like Kline, Newman and Pollock created something unique and spontaneous that reflected the mood of the American Society. My compositions are straight forward and contagious of emotions that emerge every time I confront a blank canvas. Memories and feelings rise and I do not even think of my actions. Like a child's work. I teach and have taught painting for a long time. I actually learn from my classes as I enrich myself guiding a talented artist. Sometimes I even let them participate from my own art. As a matter of fact, that is how I met my wife. Hopefully this painting will let you understand who am I and what an artist feels.
