Gabrielle-Aimée Séguin was born in 1995 in France. In 2018, she received her BA in Painting at the University of Edinburgh. During her BA, Gabrielle embarked on an exchange abroad to study studio art in San Diego. The summer after, she returned to California for three months to intern as a studio assistant in the Los Angeles studio of artist Elliott Hundley. Upon graduating, Gabrielle was awarded the 2018 John Kinross Scholarship to Florence by the Royal Scottish Academy and spent three months (September to December 2018) in Florence researching a new body of work. Gabrielle is currently based in Delta House Studios, London, where she is producing work responding to her time in Florence.
