When I saw his sculpture , I was shocked. His sculptures were very tall , slander and hard to recognize what was that and weird but very impressive and had strong messages for human being. I felt very strong empathy for them and thought he was very philosophical artist. He always had questions about human conditions and existential problems. So he tried to create his sculptures exactly as he envisioned through his unique view of reality. He was born in Switzerland 1901. He was awarded " Grand Prize for Sculpture " at 1962 Venice Biennale. Giacometti is one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century as a key player in the Surrealist art movement and gave lots of inspirations to modern artists in the world. Alberto Giacometti is my beloved artist , so I painted him to give my admiration.

Ever since I discovered the great impressionists like Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Gauguin as a child , I wanted to be a artist. Since then, I have realized that painting truly is the thing that makes me happiest and has kept my passion for life going. My life has taken me through many roles such as working in sales, intenaional import/export, being an art director for a local gallery , and getting multiful successful food business off the ground and sold . While I am now proprietor of a small cafe , my heart has remained belonging to art.
