Maria Timofeeff is an artist and designer based in Moscow. In the workshop, on the easel there is always a white canvas or a completed painting with a bewitching smell of oil paint. This is an episode from Maria’s childhood. She grew up in a creative family; her father is an artist and a teacher. Her sister is also an artist. There were no other paths for Maria but art. For several years Maria Timofeeff taught painting. She is an active person by nature and loves to combine various creative processes. For twenty years, in parallel with painting, she has been creating interior designs in tandem with her sister. She is particularly interested in life of the painting in the living space.
