ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My paintings are usually abstract, I use very simple forms, but every painting contains feeling, thought and energy. The image shows almond-shaped matter. Its form resembles a slit, an eye, although on closer attention you can see a delicate location, indicating a more physical existence. The picture is my imagination about the inner space, our subconscious and the spiritual world. We look inside ourselves, into the "cracks of existence". The rift opens more and more, shifts its boundaries, sometimes it disturbs, but it is the very center of being, the place of the illusory, deep, uncompromising struggle of the forces of existence. A place that opens up new experiences.

I am an artist living and working in Gdańsk, Poland. I graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at the University of Arts in Poznań (2017). I ‘m interested in creating space and distance that feels like the familiar world around us but is ambiguous, general, and abstracted. I believe that the image is a fragment of material and spiritual reality. I treat my paintings as a mental journey through the places. I try to capture what is on the verge of visibility. I study the structures of reality in their passing process, in constant movement and transformation. Creative work is a process that opens me up to the work of memory and imagination. I deal with painting, photography, drawing, graphics and objects. I like to combine various media in search of a suitable form of artistic expression.
