Although primarily a figurative artist, Laura accentuates colour and line above realism. She invites people to share her joy and excitement in an unnoticed world. Painting and drawing have long been Laura’s main preoccupation. She originally trained in Theatre Design (BA Hons) at Nottingham Trent University after a childhood obsessed with theatre. Her work includes set and costume design for Alan Ayckbourn world premieres. She also founded an award winning interior design business. Theatre and interior design have contributed to her feeling for form, space and colour.
