“Beauty reveals nature as the music of grace, and creation as full of divine splendor.” This is the story of an artist from Ukraine, who challenged his values during the war and developed a new meaning and vision of beauty. To explain the central message of these works of art, we have to touch upon their history. It is not so much the image on the canvas that is crucial, but what it means to its creator. The story began at five o'clock in the morning on the 24th of February 2022, when the city of Chernihiv suffered the first shellings from Russian Hailstorm rocket launchers. The artist's mission, which was the creation of beauty, had changed to a common one for everyone - to survive and protect their homes. AK-74’s replaced painting brushes, blood and dirt became the paints, and hatred and violence reigned around. From time to time, as the author explains, he achieved a short harmony, creating new canvases, and depicting nature - a balance of beauty and peace. At that time, it helped to feel that the war no longer existed. During the war, there is a wild desire to see the opposite, unconditional beauty, not from a human, but from God, which enhances the artistic vision. The war triggered his search for beauty and caused him to begin seeing it in the simple things that were often overlooked during times of peace. While war may be a prevalent theme, viewers will also bear witness to a striking contrast - the true beauty of nature and flowers. To find your inner world, you need to start noticing. The beauty inherent in nature saves the human soul. The artist's mission is to carry this idea as this kind of beauty can harmonize a human, inspire, and give comfort. Colours can be used to break up a space or create a feeling of tranquility, and now I keep going for peace.
