ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work portrays the feeling of anxiety. Changing, implicates uncertainty. Overthinking of situations evoke anxieties and nervousness. When I am anxious, my body usually reacts with constant and intense stomachaches. Thus, with the messy lines in the middle of the artwork, I want to show the feeling of uneasiness physically, mentally, and emotionally. The burn and protruding creases around the middle is meant to intensify the pain and discomfort anxiety can bring to one.
