The Blue Column is a work that invites reflection through its carefully structured composition and suggestive symbolism. Verticality dominates the piece, dividing the space into two distinct yet complementary parts. In the upper portion, a narrow strip houses the head of a classical Roman sculpture, mysteriously emerging on the left, evoking the grandeur and timelessness of ancient art. In contrast, the lower part of the work is dominated by a large vertical rectangle representing a fragment of classical architecture. A column supports a lintel, and the choice of blue color for this structure lends it a surreal and enigmatic aura. This architecture seems to emerge from an almost desert-like landscape, where the solitary figure of a man stands out against a luminous background of golden ochre tones. It is as if the man discovers this architecture lost in the vastness of the desert, suggesting the search for something lost or the revelation of a hidden mystery.
