Born in 1959 in Lublin. He graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Nałęczów. Studied at the Institute of Artistic Education at the UMCS in Lublin. In 1986 he obtained a diploma with distinction from painting in the studio of prof. Marian Stelmasik. Scope of his work covers painting, photography, drawing, graphic design, DTP, arrangement of museum exhibitions, and interior design. Author of graphic designs for numerous album publications. He is interested in the traditional aspects of painting: texture, colour, light. He searches for artifacts created by the interaction of man, environment, time, and forces of nature. Details created by past generations, carved by time, water, and wind form the basis for his painting and photographic compositions. He is fascinated by combining painting and photography; their mutual coexistence and penetration. Starting with drawing and glazing interventions into photography and ending with photographic details constituting a sketch or underlayment printed into painting canvas.
