Inspired by the cycle of human evolution, "Autómata Finito" is a pictorial reflection on the transition of the human being from primitive states to the digital age. The 120x60 cm canvas unfolds as a mural of shapeless figures, which mutate from organic forms into a final automaton, unified in its te...

Biography: Gonzalo García Ramírez (State of Mexico, 1975) is a painter, writer, and designer with a PhD in Economic Sciences. His foray into painting is entirely self-taught, forged through deep study and constant practice, drawing inspiration from the avant-garde movements of Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstraction. Early in his career, García Ramírez's work explored the complexities of human existence, melancholy, and the search for meaning in the face of divine indifference. His canvases depicted themes such as emptiness and death as liberation. Beginning in 2017, a profound personal transformation, marked by the rediscovery of the Inner Self and Universal Love, led to a 180-degree shift in his artistic expression. His most recent pieces, exemplified by his "Trilogy," reflect this connection with the universal and the spiritual. Currently, the purpose of his art is to radiate joy, hope, and faith, revealing both the deep, inner beauty of the Self (often unexplored) and the magnificence of the visible world around us. In essence, Gonzalo García Ramírez's work is a narrative journey that travels from the deepest darkness to the celebration of the bliss and happiness inherent in our existence, reminding us that we can access them if we so desire. He has exhibited his work in private galleries in Mexico City. Artist Statement: My current work is the culmination of a profound personal journey, a voyage that has led me from the exploration of existential darkness to the revelation of inner light and the understanding that Universal Consciousness is not separate from us, but rather that we are its conditioned and particular expression. Through painting, I translate complex epiphanies and conversations with this intrinsic truth, inviting the viewer into an experience of deep transformation. My recent Trilogy is the heart of this new direction. Each of these three large-format paintings embodies a chapter in the awakening of this inherent consciousness: • 'Génesis' emerges from a black background, where flashes of color revealed by a scraping process evoke primary creation and the birth of form from the whole. • 'Despertar' (Awakening) presents irregular geometric figures and an ascending center of light that symbolizes the revelation and expansion of the perception of our true nature.
