Autumn is a very inspiring season for an artist painting nature. In the summer, the predominant green gradually changes to yellow, ochre, brown and red. Nature can conjure up the most colorful colors especially on the leaves of trees. True, I am tempted to try to imitate in my paintings this infinite range of colors so that they are faithfully captured on canvas in all their perfection. That's why in autumn I wander less in evergreen coniferous forests and more in search of those places where there are more leafy trees. Sometimes they are leafy forests interwoven with a river, other times just vast parks. I walk on the colorful carpet of fallen leaves and enjoy the beauty around me. I believe that this painting, inspired by autumn nature, can also bring its refreshing breath into your home, and its colors will make it calmer, more beautiful, more harmonious and cozier....

I have lived all my life in a picturesque mountain village surrounded by the high peaks of the Slovak high mountains of the High Tatras and deep mystical coniferous forests. I love to wander through this unspoiled nature for days and collect subjects for my paintings. For decades I have been trying to translate the absolute perfection of nature into relative painting perfection.
