From the artist's diary: "It turned out that I came again to the pond in the early morning. I am admiring: the sun breaks through foliage and running clouds, and gild the yellow crowns of trees, illuminating and pouring light all around. Although autumn has not taken its course, and now it is only the beginning of September, but its breath is felt everywhere, everything around is already replete with different colours: it seems to me, that I see the entire colour spectrum in this landscape. That is paradise for the Impressionist, there's a place to go. However, now it is not up to admiration, it is necessary to work on the plain air very quickly, because the state of nature is changing very rapidly: the wind is driving clouds, gradually tightening the sky, the lighting is changing, making the landscape around gray, and on the contrary I would like to show a buffoon of colour, born on one side of the summer greens around, and from the inevitable coming golden autumn. Fabulous fleeting time. The morning fog is silvering and steaming along the smoothness of the water. I still see the reflection of the sky in it, which has already become autumnal heavy, as they say, lead, and the pitchers seem to dissolve in it, floating away. The amber carpet of leaves fallen into the pond is becoming denser. A rather symbolic landscape, creating both a solemn and sad mood, because ahead, as soon as the trees finally drop all their mottled foliage, a rather long cold time awaits us, which will invariably be replaced by a spring awakening "

My name is Ekaterina Orlova. I am an impressionist artist, studied at the Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov, later continued my studies in the workshop of the artist Georgy Sergeyevich Kara-Murza. I was greatly influenced by the art of the great impressionists, such as Monet, Cezann, Gauguin, Van Gogh, as well as a contemporary Bato Dugarzhapov. In my work, I try to develop and adhere to the basic principles of the artistic trend of "impressionism," trying to give my works ease, airiness, fleeting. My paintings are in private collections throughout Russia, as well as the UK. Thank you for your attention to my work!
