Antigoni Tziora born and raised in Greece. Her art has a pervasive sense of 'romanticism', her work is both classical and modern. She uses acrylics, and having experimented and used various materials and techniques which give more expressiveness to the subject such as inks, watercolors, fabrics and metal leafs. In her work we find a powerful expression of creative energy .The romantic and complex brush strokes stand out ,which is distinguished by being dense, with an intense color and feels both historically grounded and modern . Her recent series are contemporary takes on classic portraiture. Taking inspiration from famous paintings by Rococo and Baroque masters creating a bridge from the classical to the contemporary. She has presented her works in various exhibitions in Greece. Her works are in private collections in Greece, USA, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and Canada.
