Barge in the Rhone Painting

This is part of a work on the industrial world that I have been dealing with for many years. The reflections of the barge on this transparent water is the continuation of an approach to water, its movement, its noises, its silences. This painting is like a window through which I meditate towards a world that transports me. I work from real images. I draw on the spot, or I take pictures. The composition work is done in a free way, keeping the emotion that this image produced for me. This work is a look towards the world of work, metallic, cold and noisy, but that becomes beautiful when you have a certain look on him. We go through the appropriation of the image to soften it. The realism that I express in my own way is the only way to this industrial world that surrounds me and that I must accept.
