ABOUT THE ARTWORK
" Bavaria" is a painting which deals with the subject of immigration and national identity. The direct inspiration for this piece was the so called " refugee crisis" in Germany and the resulting tension between opposing political fronts. Angela Merkels " Willkommen Kultur" " Welcome Society" is an experiment of grand proportions and with huge social implications within Germany, Europe and the entire western world.
