ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I've become enthusiastic about working in cold wax medium although it is not widely used and much of my technique has been self taught. It has similar properties as encaustic except that the wax is not heated and fused in layers. The wax is mixed with oil paint and applied in layers with palette knives, brayers and squeegees. The effect is soft and subtle.
