Summer is a little slice of life. When fall approaches, usually a week or more in mid-August, to say goodbye to summer, it makes me sad. Even though it's not over and may even be hot, it already smells like fall and that makes me homesick. One of these days, I wanted to paint a small landscape in warm pastel colors to capture summer and linger in it for a while longer. A bench by the water stretches out in the distance. Sit back and relax. The sun gently caresses your skin as you enjoy the view of the river. The pink clouds of sunset reflect in the water, and nature around you awakens in vibrant colors. The trees sway gently in the wind and the flowers on the banks are blooming. It is a place of peace and tranquility where time seems to have stopped. Perhaps soon this picture will hang in a cozy cafe where you can stop, have a cup of coffee and admire the beauty of summer. Or it will take its place in a private living room, where it will keep the memory of sunny days. Wherever it hangs, it will touch the hearts of those who see it. Bench under pink clouds

Ellen Frischbutter, Germany, Leipzig. Since childhood I loved to draw, drew well and watched with pleasure how my father drew, he was not a painter, but perfectly drew with pencil and oil paints. In life I chose the profession of a psychologist, but that choice has led me to creativity. Doing art therapy with clients, watching the whimsical flow of paint, I found myself wanting to paint everything from ethereal dreams, real objects to fantastical, imaginary subjects and dreams. I fell in love with painting, attended various painting courses and once I felt the freedom to move on canvas I like to paint in different techniques and on different subjects. My artist pseudonym is Frilen
