About The Artwork
Bentley Sports cars were the precursers of the Bentley Saloon cars. Bentley engineers refined the engine to give speed and the body to give comfort. I have admired Bentleys since I was 12 years old. Perhaps the viewer will have seen or driven one of these superb sports cars or may even own one. The work will give a sense of nostalgia and pride. The green paintwork is the precurser of British racing green. Watercolour on heavy cold pressed paper is one of the best ways of presenting fine detail and the colours are alive.
