About The Artwork

This painting is aimed to protect its owner from all evils. In various cultures of the world, the bird is an important symbol. In ancient myths, birds play a major role in creating the world and controlling natural forces. Among them are the legendary Phoenix Bird, Gamayun, the bird of promise, the beautiful birds of the Garden of Eden, the Garuda Bird, and so on. Many of us know the beautiful myths that tell of these magical creatures. In Slavic mythology, for example, there is the magical Bird of Happiness. The Slavs had a strong belief in this wonderful bird and in its force. They believed it was crucial to have such an amulet in the house. They made it from straw, wood, and other materials. This bird was believed to drive evil and dark forces away from the house and family, and to attract goodness, love, and happiness! Apart from the image of the bird, the picture contains various symbols and sacred images that carry the energy which brings protection and healing, abundance and prosperity, support and patronage of the higher beings. The bird is the symbol of freedom of the soul, it represents the idea of separation of the spiritual from the earthly. The bird has always been deemed a mediator between the Earth and the Sky, between people and Gods. The spiral is a symbol of great creative power. It is a symbol of the universe, the infinity of life, vitality, and movement towards enlightenment and wisdom. The plant ornament symbolises vitality and the powers of earthly nature. The circle is a universal symbol, meaning divine origin, integrity, continuity, original perfection, eternity. Each picture has its own symbolism and patterns. If you wish, it is possible to order your own personal “Bird of happiness” with a meaning that is tailored to you.
