For this less abstract painting I get inspired by Nature itself, seeing the birds outside in wintertime. For me this is a very special painting because people get never tired looking at it and every viewer can easily see the beauty of Nature. It is one of my favourites’. It is made by palette knife in many layers of oil paint. I’ve kept the colour scheme simple which allows the small accents of colour to become even more strong.

Sabine Kay is an abstract artist, born 1964 in Hamburg, Germany, and now living in Luxembourg. She has always had a passion for art, but rediscovered this only some years ago. And now, with the kids getting older, she is moving into a new phase of her life: an art-life. In the beginning she worked realistic, but over the years she learned that in abstract art she could better express herself. While painting she is building the oil colours layer upon layer with a colour palette ranging from soft and serene to vibrant and invigorating. Her inspiration comes from nature itself or photographs. Painting means to her to create something by herself that reflects her impression of nature and its many and always changing Colours. With her paintings she wants to reach the hearts of the spectators. With her paintings she is on GalleryM&Art agents
