ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original landscape oil painting of Bixby Creek Bridge in Big Sur, California. I lived and worked as an oil painting artist in Big Sur for six years and was deeply influenced by the natural beauty of my surrounding environment. I unfortunately resided on the property from which the largest landslide in California history fell during this winter 2017. The landslide has indefinitely closed a portion of Pacific Coast Highway and access to my home. I have relocated in California but will always continue to feel connected to the region and powerful landscape of Big Sur.
