Bogey Days Painting

Colorful and vibrant painting. It represents two friends on a bright day of golf finishing the 18th hole. Golf takes me back to the happy days when my parents played it. It gives me peace and joy. I would say that the protagonist of the work is the neon orange color, with its strength and energy, which stands out even more against a dark background. The acrylic medium in his reflex range allowed me, in this case, to give that relief to the character whose back is turned, and that force of attraction to the work. “Bogey” means completing a hole with one stroke more than expected, one over par, that is, it is one of the results that is not entirely good in the world of golf, that is why I gave it the name “Bogey Days.” , “Days of bogeys”, as it represents two friends simply having a good day, regardless of the level or the result of the game.
