ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Lagerstroemia indica, in India commonly known as farush, started blooming from month of April-May. Bloom comes in bunches and gives a soft cottony look. Being a botanical artist I always want to capture this beauty in my canvas. Farush comes in a range of colours.I have chosen white and pink farush for this painting. But I tried to compile this composition in little differently. Mostly botanical illustration comes in white background while I applied a golden background and border for that I have used golden foil paper. Hope you like this bunch of colourful cottony beauties and give your interior a little touch of greenary ????
