Boundless Painting

I graduated with honor from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. My inspiration is everything that I am surrounded by. From the shadow on the ground to the sky changing color every hour. I am paying particular attention to landscapes especially these rural. A subjective landscape, which is an emotional transformation of the world around me. Its parts are the most memorable or parts that seem to be the ones remembered from reality but are already emotionally processed. I am striving for the most simplified form of a landscape that will bring out the deepest hidden emotions in the viewer, and at the same time make the landscape itself a remnant, a trace of the past, a trace of existence, of being. I love traditional techniques as same as digital prints, each of them gives another quality, kind of trace that I cannot repeat in another. In each of the techniques, I raise similar problems, about our subjective seeing of the world, our memory about past, past places that were important once, meant something.
