ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a painting of oil on curved canvas. I created a stretcher frame with curves and stretched the canvas on it in a manner that creates "waves" in both directions (left-right & up-down). The painting of a sitting figure with hands crossed over the bent legs is painted with the "hills" in lighter colors and the "dips" in darker colors to enhance the curvatures of the canvas. pictures don't do it justice, must see in person! Very unique way of creating an incredible painting
