ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Every year the buffalo Africa migrate to more sustainable grazing fields. To do so they must sometimes cross rivers and except drowning, crocodiles could also pray on them. Being one of the Big Five the best and biggest of the species get shot as trophies to end up on a wall and the gene pool gets depleted of good breeding material. Being a Geneticist, I paint these beautiful animals while they are still here with us.
