About The Artwork
Having spent twenty plus years in a study of green hues, I'm at a new beginning of a long study of the color red. As a secondary, greens were easy in that there were many mixes to explore. As a primary, red can be difficult, especially in watercolor. Red can be a light tint or an intense crimson. It can be warmed or cooled, darkened or grayed, but it cannot be mixed. I hope I have a couple of decades left to explore the possibilities.
