Born: 1975, Toronto, ON, Canada. Byron Hodgins grew up in London, ON, attending Beal-Art to study drawing, painting and printmaking. In 1994 he traveled to Vancouver to work with the Malaspina Printmakers Society as a Lithographer. In 2001, with a BFA in Painting and a minor in Art History, Byron graduated from the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design. Northern romantic landscape painting in the Canadian tradition.
