CONEXIONS Painting

Lives and work in Barcelona-Spain. I'm a visual artist that exhibit since 1995 in different countries like , USA, Mexico, Sweden, The Netherlands, Greece, Peru, Romania, Denmark, Portugal, Belgium, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Canada, Poland and Lithuania. I feature my recent solo exhibitions: "DESIRED SPACES" in Tornby Gallery in Denmark and Olivart Art Gallery in Barcelona. Also I'm independent Cultural Management and artivist by the Collaborative and participatory art in social projects for the restoration of dignity. I'm interested in new ways to promote Culture and Art through networks and new technologies, in addition to being an intermediary agent interaction to promote multiculturalism and gender issues. I am Founder and Managing Virtual Women's Collective Art-Essence Project, highlighting the International Mail Art Project about Women exhibited in Spain, Colombia and The Netherlands. I'm Co-founder of ArtGestión Lab+ creating international exhibition projects. Since 2014 I was selected as curator of TINA Prize. My recent work revolves around the concept of these two series, sometimes independently, sometimes are joined together. SERIE: WHITE + COLOUR * WHERE SILENCE INHABITS Does the vacuum should be filled out as? Since its birth in ancient Greece, Western culture has been obsessed by the fear of emptiness. But White space is fertile! I've been experiencing in my painting, I felt that these blanks, gaps, absences and silences are like absolute poem or music, are an active part by creating an internal dynamic. These are my new spaces desired geographical coordinates are both a sentimental and reflective geography, where the color persists, dialogue and struggle with anything. Giacometti said that "The purpose of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity" ... this is my premise, that allows me to launch the horizon these paintings, whose initial whiteness have given me the right to dream but also the color thoughtful empty, creating spaces with its own vocabulary, looking for a personal construction of the world and myself.
