Augustin Răzvan Radu (b. 1974) is an emerging contemporary artist based in Bucharest, Romania. His pictorial practice spans themes of domesticity and the mundane, revolution and the politically grotesque, while resorting to humor and distortion as a form of destabilizing monolithic perceptions of reality. His work operates at the confluence of individual and collective affective memory, of a personal and spectral reality perpetually transferring itself into plasticity. Augustin's work is part of private and public collections in Romania, Austria and China.
