Cactus Dream Painting

This is one of my graduation show works in Korea. In real life we are always seeking the “answer”， but many things actually don’t have any answers and they are hard to figure out. We often want to know other people’s thoughts or want to know who loves more. I think the essence of dreams is mysterious.I always observe people (e.g. on public transport) and animals sleeping in my daily life and I am curious about what they dream of,but it is really hard to know. Through dreams, I want to explore the unknowns of life.If a picture in a dream is true enough, it is difficult to define what is a dream and what is real.Maybe everything is a dream. Only you know what you dream about and you can easily convey in language what you dreamt about last night.Or sometimes there is confusion in reality when you wake up because you remember the images from your dream.I also wonder if animals and plants dream? Through this exhibition, my work is carried out as a dream, from the images of animals and plants dreaming to the dream’s unconsciousness and connection to ourselves.
