Cape Island Creek behind Lucky Bones Painting

This is where I live, where the constant glitter of the sunshine and the ruffle of the breeze make the wetlands dance in front of your eyes. Cape May is one of the most beautiful towns in America, and is surrounded by undulating fields of marsh grass. Cape Island Creek flows from Cape May harbor between Cape May and West Cape May. In this painting I used the broken brushwork associated with the Impressionists. I think that it helped capture the sunlight, the breeze, and the ripples in the creek at the time.
