"Small times Big" is the subject of the next group exhibition of Art Association Fulda, of which I'm a member. What else is smaller than a natural element like carbon. So I took a Carbon 6 Atom model of Rutherford. And I have had a lot of passe partout cardboard and oil chalk to produce an artwork. The artwork is on display from July 14th to Sept 29th, 2024. In any case it only can be delivered after Sept 29. If the work is sold during the exhibition, it will no longer be available in Saatchi Art.

Heinrich Leonhard Groetsch was born on Dec 18, 1947 in Wuerzburg (Germany). In 1974 he successfully finished studies at Wuerzburg University. In 1984 he and his wife moved from Wuerzburg to Fulda, because of a job in a German subsidiary of an English company. Fulda is situated 100 km north of Wuerzburg und 100 km west of Frankfurt. Since his childhood Leonhard liked to paint, but he is a self-taught artist, who had never had any courses in art with the exception of lessons at secondary and high school. He learned doing art on canvas or paper by literature and practice. Nevertheless he created a style which he called Count-Art in the mid-1990s. This style is based on figure equivalents of Hebrew alphabet. In 1992 he organized his first two single exhibitions. In 2005 he joined Art Association of Fulda and meanwhile he took part in more than 35 group exhibitions and he became part of the board of the association. In October 2016 Leonhard had had another single exhibition at Art Gallery of Art Association Fulda (Germany) where he presented Count-Art for the first time. In 2018 he had had a single exhibition in Vienna (Austria) and an exhibition near Würzburg, where he was born. One of his portraits was surprisingly sold to India via Saatchiart in 2018.
