Painting: Oil on Canvas Impressionism 2018 Among the prominent features of the modern creative process is the direct and organic connection between the author's artistic work and his inimitable inner world. Vivid emotions and philosophical reflection on the existence of the world are of interest to Levko Mykytych. His works can be divided into two main groups. The first one is represented by expressively painted landscapes which are full of endlessly tonal and colored gradations and which fix some momentary state of nature. The second group is characterized by the prolonged work on the complex composition which mainly includes several figures. Another distinctive feature is the mysterious and symbolically philosophical interpretation of the chosen motif. Notwithstanding the clear message, such canvases do not lose their distinctive lightness. We can see it in subtle silhouettes, exquisite combinations of solid colors, prevalence of free space, in which the event takes place, as well as in the light stroke of the brush together with freshness of palette. To your attention I create only original artworks. For creation my works I use only high-quality materials. All paintings are carefully packed. Each painting is a single copy. My principle is to create something new and different every time. I don't strive for stability and rationality in my works.
