ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Can't remember where I've seen Charles, but I remember thinking immediately that it is a Rabbit with adventures... Ones it stayed behind on the train and traveled all the way to sea side and came back with a nice train conductor. Once it was kidnapped from a blanket in the garden by a hunting bird and found thanks to FB network few streets away... Here he awaits his chirashi at Youmiko Vegan Sushi - bar near my work that inspired me colourwise... Work is oil, schlagmetal and varnish on HDF, which is a visible part of design; on wooden frame. I prefere my works not framed, if collestor feels it needs one, it should be extra thin, non-invasive 90 degree angle-beam.

Most of the highly celebrated art is about discovering new or commenting on current pressing matters, but my art is about simple everyday willingness to live. I paint because this gives me purpose and joy – it’s like humming nice song for a hundredth time, even thou there were many covers before; preparing favorite drink for a friend and myself, to enjoy it again in a new glass perhaps; dressing up for no occasion, just to look and feel good; caressing a lover… I wish it was the same for recipients of my art – everyday pleasure in experiencing it. Like a book that you red many times, yet you still reach for it; dish that you always order in that place that is there forever... Repeatable, often classic topics; favorite color palette; small and big things that makes us want to live, even thou world can be such an ugly place. I want my art to make it better - even for a moment, even in a tiny way. I want it to remind myself and others that it's worth to try everyday...
