ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Saw these beautiful, fresh, dewy, daisies on my stroll,one early winter morning. These cheerful flowers inspired me to paint them. A reminder even on the toughest of times, there is always hope, and dark days shall always be followed by bright, sunny ones. I hope that it's viewers would feel the positivity of these bright and beautiful flowers, which are a symbol of hope. Painted alla prima, with oil paints on canvas board to give the texture and richness of oils to this painting.

Art technique: I use “ alla prima technique” of painting, i.e., painting wet into wet. My paintings are spontaneous as are painted from direct observation of my subject. Source of Inspiration: Nature and its glory are a source of inspiration. I find deep pleasure in nature and try to capture the beauty and calm of the flora around me. Flowers blossom to bring sweet fragrance and beauty in our lives. We too could spread joy and bring comfort to everyone around us. This would be the true blossoming of ‘ourself ‘.
