Jean Orafo was born (as Snezana Knezevic) in 1970 in Subotica (Serbia), where she currently lives, she paints and writes poetry and prose. She discovered her talents as a child, and won many awards at children's art competitions, the most significant of which was a bronze plaque for winning the third prize at the international art competition for children announced in Turkey in 1985. After a long break, caused by nuisances in the region and obligations related to other jobs imposed by life circumstances, in 2010 she returned to her art world and since then she has actively participated in literary competitions, art colonies and exhibitions.
