Non scelgo il paesaggio, ma è il paesaggio che sceglie me con le sue forme e i suoi colori e tornato in studio, disposti i colori e le spatole realizzo o sulla tela o sulla faesite. Pittura a spatola che usa taches di colore che si sovrappongono per formare l'immagine. Una pittura che si potrebbe dire commestibile tanto le paste amalgamate dalla spatola sporgono dalla tela. Un'immagine a volte puramente tonale dove improvvisamente un colore squillante anima e illumina tutto. For years, landscapes were the only subjects of my inspiration. But I never painted a landscape from life, I never wanted to. It’s always been the concept of a landscape that chose me, fascinating me with its curve lines, with its architecture. I filled my sketchbooks with notes, elaborating these ideas and then transferring their essence on the canvas.
