About The Artwork

This is a painting I started painting with an idea sparked from a painting I recently created, ‘Flock Party’, while painting this one I decided that the spots on the bird will be hidden by squares on the bag it's stuck in. I originally had the idea to paint a somewhat sequel to 'Corporate' with a plain bag and then decided to slightly pivot. I often keep my opinions to myself (during the moment) when I notice someones humouring me or so blinded by prejudice and told I can't do something, so I painted the bird as pink spots and the viewer, not you the viewer, but the viewer within the painting decides that the pink spots don't align with their prejudice and they decide to see yellow squares. So this bird is trapped in a bag of yellow squares. I think that people use prejudice as a form of comfort, despite hindering others. Your pink spots don't align with their narrative so now you have to get out of the bag before continuing your flight. This artwork is a hand-stretched one and hooks will be attached on sale. Certificate of authenticity will be specially printed soon, you'll receive a temporary one until then.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I’m a surrealist and paint one painting and one digital artwork a week, I’ve turned them both into a series of colouring in books. My digital artworks are purely just creations with usually no intent although I paint mainly in visual metaphors of my experiences, perceptions or thoughts. I won’t paint if anyone’s around me in real life although do record them for people to see them come to life. Once the painting’s done, it’s done and I move onto the next. The result may not be a reflection of my best skill level at the age I create it, but a reflection of the mood and environment I created it in.
