Ahmed Mamdouh is an unconventional Egyptian artist, He has always been passionate about art from an early age. Acquired a bachelor degree in Art from Helwan University. Ahmed worked in the Central Bank of Egypt as a bank note designer for some time, then his free spirit led him to quit his job & travel to China to study Mandarin & martial arts. He lived in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Ecuador & Russia. He is a member in the visual artists association in Egypt, has been painting for 15 years & he is known for his distinctive style, he paints with coffee, pencil, pen, oil, acrylic & uses collage technique. He has done sculptures with cement as part of his job in an interior design company. His style is derived from surrealism & impressionism which can be seen in his art work, his feelings & inner thoughts are translated into his paintings, with a mirage like feeling to it. Ahmed currently lives in Cairo with his family
