I set out to create a new look of art for my art fans. Bold and colorful, for sure, but I also feel that movement and energy in a painting are the elements that make it really come alive. This painting captures a lot of energy and pretty much exemplifies how I feel some days. Not to be confused with 'organized chaos', this painting captures a multitude of 'Competing Priorities'. There are multiple work priorities, home priorities, art requests and priorities and then there was the schedule I had in mind to start with. Yes, they often compete for my time, but there is also competition between what I want to do (paint) and what I need to do (everything else in life). That's the story behind this one. It's painted on an extra heavy duty canvas and really is stunning in person. It's 24" wide x 18" high and 1.5" deep - all covered with a satin UV-resistant finish. The sides are painted black and it's ready to hang very cool looking on your wall.

I am a self-taught artist best known for large-size original abstract and contemporary paintings.
