Composure Painting

I try to highlight the beauty of the human body, of nature, its colorfulness, its wonders, our smallness, but at the same time our ingenuity, through some of my works. Through others, however, I try to lift the observer out of the dusty ordinariness and mediocrity in which they dwell every day and bring them to a higher level, from which the world will seem beautiful and unencumbered by shallow difficulties. There are other works in which I try to confront the observer with darkness, fear, failure, death or an unknown force they must resist. At those moments I want to stand by them, hidden in the work, and show them that they can see the inexplicable glimmer of the guiding light only in the truly profound darkness. I want them to find the strength to continue in my works, to not wait for better conditions, to struggle and to not give up despite insurmountable obstacles. And I also wish for this observer to be You.
