From large paintings and drawings I have become interested in small works on board.. I usually work quickly, like an oil sketch of Peter Paul Rubens. Glimpses into the environment around me, photographic moments that stick in ones mind, maybe an animal has moved in the woods in the corner of my eye, I hear the cawing of the crows, the night thickens.. In the oil sketch I hope I can give these impression- these impressions ultimately made while being alone somewhere. I hope these feelings in this line of being is emitted genuinely to you.
